The Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) now offers air travellers the convenience of RSS feeds delivered right to your desktop for up-to-the-minute news and information about Canadian air security regulation and air travel.
RSS (Real Simple Syndication) allows you to stay up to date with new content when it is posted to our website. Known as an RSS feed, brief messages containing the headline and a small summary text are published in your feed reader every time new information has been added.
Because RSS feeds are formatted differently than web pages, you will require an aggregator or, feed reader, to view them. In addition to a number of free aggregators found online for both Mac and PC, RSS feeds can also be read on BlackBerries, iPhones, PDAs and cellphones.
To become a subscriber to CATSA’s RSS feed, click on the RSS or XML button on our homepage to instantly add the feed to your aggregator. Alternatively, you may need to copy and paste the URL of the feed into the aggregator if it does not support the click-to-add feature.
